Located right on the picturesque shoreline of the Susquehanna River, the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum tells the story of the town's deep connection to the water. Explore exhibits on boat building, commercial fishing, and the area's naval history.

The museum also features the Environmental Center, which offers insights into the local ecosystem of the Upper Chesapeake Bay. It's a wonderful place to learn about the forces that have shaped this community for centuries.
Lock House Museum
Not only is the Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House a great local museum to check out, but we also love to recommend the Annual Candlelight Tour, which happens every December. Every year, over 500 guests enjoy touring local homes and experience Havre de Grace from a new perspective.
There are also some guided tours you can take - our favorite is the "Lafayette Trail", which is self-guided through an app.

One of our favorite breweries is Market Street Brewery. While they don't serve food, they arrange local food trucks to visit on site, making perfect pairings with their in home brews.
